Gallagher Re has welcomed Liz Kim to its 40-plus-strong cyber reinsurance team.
Operating out of San Francisco, Kim will further enhance the support and service of clients based on the US West Coast. She will collaborate with the global cyber consultancy, analytics, and alternative cyber solutions teams on a range of innovative initiatives, as well as working closely with Gallagher Re’s wider and extensive team of US-based colleagues.
Kim was most recently group director of cyber underwriting at Hiscox, where she was responsible for global cyber underwriting strategy including exposure management, coverage developments, pricing, claims performance and reinsurance strategy, and execution of silent cyber reduction plans.
Kim’s “15 years of industry experience are as broad as they are deep, spanning underwriting strategy, product development and coverage, alongside exposure management, legal and claims,” said Ian Newman, global head of cyber at Gallagher Re. “She… brings not only a wealth of complementary skills and experience from the wider cyber market, but a natural extension on to the West Coast of our on-the-ground cyber reinsurance specialisms.”
