Allied World Assurance Company Holdings has announced the appointment of Stephen Leeret as senior vice president and head of US Programs. In his new role, Leeret will be responsible for the strategy, management and underwriting of Allied World’s US Programs division.
“We are very excited to have Stephen leading the team,” said Lou Iglesias, president and CEO of Allied World. “He will be instrumental in continuing to deliver niche insurance solutions to our program administrators.”
“Stephen has an extensive insurance background with over 29 years’ experience in middle market, special risk and program underwriting, marketing and portfolio management,” said Joseph Cellura, president of Allied World’s North America casualty division. “He will be a great asset as we continue to grow our programs business.”
