E-commerce giant Amazon.com is getting into the insurance game through a new partnership with digital insurtech company Next Insurance.

Through the partnership, Amazon Business Prime members can obtain a small business insurance quote from Next Insurance. Business Prime members can also immediately purchase general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, as well as tools & equipment insurance from the insurtech.

Amazon Business is Amazon.com’s enterprise-focused service for business owners, which allows users to shop for (and sell) business-relevant supplies and equipment. And much like regular Amazon.com, Amazon Business also supports Prime membership, for free shipping and business-relevant benefits.

“We believe the future of the insurance buying experience involves meeting customers where they already are and making it easy to purchase customized and affordable policies,” said Next Insurance CEO Guy Goldstein. “We are proud to continue to be chosen by top companies, like Amazon, who understand the best way to serve small businesses is through digital solutions.”

Goldstein added that thanks to Amazon Business Prime, Next Insurance is “taking a large step toward providing greater access to seamless insurance coverage.”

“We know that small business owners are looking for innovative and cost-effective ways to streamline their businesses and save time, and that’s what this partnership with Next Insurance helps achieve,” Amazon Business Prime director Todd Heimes. “We believe Next Insurance offering products to Business Prime is another example of how this program provides value and benefits to members.”

To mark the launch of this partnership, Next Insurance is offering a 10% discount for general liability and professional liability policies for Amazon Business Prime customers.
