AXIS Insurance, the specialty insurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings, has bolstered its US excess and surplus property team with three senior hires. Michael Worman and David Malcom have joined the company as senior vice presidents, while Lisa Finch has joined as vice president. Their responsibilities will include developing new business, deepening relationships with new and existing distribution partners, and executing the company’s underwriting strategy.
Worman will act as regional manager of the West Coast. He has 12 years of industry experience and joins AXIS from Ace/Chubb Westchester Property, where he served as senior vice president. He has also held positions at Berkshire Hathaway and Travelers Insurance.
Malcom will serve as regional manager in Alpharetta, Ga. An 18-year industry veteran, he joins AXIS from Ethos, where he served as senior vice president for property. Malcom has also held positions at Ironshore and Max Specialty.
Finch brings more than 40 years of industry experience to her role as vice president in Alpharetta. She previously served as vice president at Ethos, and held the same role at Liberty International and Swiss Re.
