AXIS Re adds senior underwriter for Lloyd's casualty

AXIS Re, the reinsurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, has announced the hiring of Lisa Hiscock as a senior underwriter of Lloyd’s casualty for the global markets team. In her new role, Hiscock will underwrite Lloyd’s casualty treaty business, supporting existing partnerships and assessing opportunities for growth.

Hiscock began her career at Hiscox in London as an underwriter on the specialty team. She continued her career in Australia, focusing on crisis management lines. She joins AXIS Re from AXA XL.

Hiscock will initially be based in Australia, with plans to transfer to the UK later this year.
