Specialist insurer Beazley has announced the appointment of Patricia Kocsondy as head of US cyber and tech.
Prior to joining Beazley, Kocsondy (pictured above) served as senior vice president of errors and omissions and cyber underwriting for Chubb Limited’s North American financial lines, where she was responsible for strategic leadership and direction, portfolio management, product development and underwriting strategy. She has also held roles at Ace Limited, Chubb & Son, a division of Federal Insurance Company, and The Hartford.
“Patricia’s experience and expertise brings new insight to our team in the US as we work with our brokers and clients to help strengthen their cyber defenses and mitigate risk,” said Paul Bantick, head of global cyber and tech at Beazley. “With Patricia’s leadership in the US, we look forward to continuing to strengthen our experienced cyber and tech practice as we evolve and enhance our 360-degree cyber protection and risk mitigation services for our clients.”
Kocsondy will be based in New York. She will report to Bantick and focus on middle-market and large-risk cyber and tech underwriting in the US.
