Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies has announced that it will now offer its accountants professional liability product in Pennsylvania.
“We continue to expand our portfolio to supply our network of independent agents with quality products that enable them to grow,” said Sy Foguel, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway GUARD. “In 2016, we began writing professional liability for a limited number of classes in 13 states. We now offer professional liability to nearly 100 different types of businesses in 30 states, with plans for future expansion.”
“Our accountants professional liability product is targeted toward CPA firms with up to $10 million in annual revenue, with larger firms considered on a case-by-case basis,” said Lyle Hitt, executive vice president of property and liability insurance. “The product features limits up to $3 million per claim and deductibles starting as low as $500. We also offer full prior acts coverage, subpoena assistance, and defense of third-party discrimination, as well as a variety of optional additional add-ons.”
Berkshire Hathaway GUARD partnered with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. to offer the accountants professional liability product.
