The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I”) has announced that the professional liability risk management website formerly known as E&O Happens has been rebranded as E&O Guardian. The new website updates the look and feel for the risk management library, which has also been updated with new resources.
E&O Guardian includes a variety of educational materials centered around errors and omissions topics, including articles, recorded webinars, and a new collection of 20-minute “Lightning Learning” webinars. The website also contains a set of practical tools for agencies, including sample checklists, procedures manuals, disclaimers and customer letters. E&O Guardian is provided as a Swiss Re policyholder and Big “I” member benefit. Some content is available to all Big “I” members, while certain resources are reserved exclusively for Swiss Re policyholders.
“We’re thrilled to release this revamped resource to help Swiss Re Corporate Solutions policyholders avoid E&O claims and improve their agencies’ operations,” said Amanda Juratovic, assistant vice president of E&O operations for the Big “I.” “The Big “I” professional liability program and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions continue to build on over 30 years of shared history and experience protecting independent agents. Even the website name, ‘E&O Guardian,’ reflects the spirit of our program. We are here to protect our policyholders before and after any claims that arise.”

“The E&O Guardian website provides very practical information for insurance agents designed to prompt proactive behavior to avoid E&O claims,” said Elizabeth Whitney, head of US agents and senior vice president at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. “We pride ourselves on offering our insureds not just a policy, but a comprehensive program. Knowing that an agent’s time is a precious resource, we’ve streamlined the site so policyholders can quickly connect with the information they need to keep their operation running well, avoid claims and successfully defend themselves should one occur.”
