Rothschild has nearly 20 years of industry experience and has specialized in marine for more than 15 years. She also joins BMS from Price Forbes & Partners, where she most recently served as divisional director of stock throughput.

“Andrew and Louise are highly respected and experienced industry professionals,” Lawson said. “Their combined knowledge of the cargo market will be an invaluable asset to BMS and aligns perfectly with our existing US wholesale P&C and specialty insurance teams. I look forward to welcoming them to the team.”
“With these appointments, we are demonstrating our dedication to building out our London specialty capabilities, while simultaneously supporting our US retailer client base,” said Ian Gormley, UK CEO of BMS. “Our reputation as being the destination for top industry talent enables us to attract exceptional individuals such as Louise and Andrew.”
Hutchins and Rothschild are the latest additions to the BMS team. In November, BMS Re named Christopher Larson co-head of casualty broking. In September, BMS Group appointed Nick Gillett as international CEO.
