Burns & Wilcox has announced that it has appointed Suzette Torres and Gina Marquez to its Houston leadership team. Torres has been named managing director, while Marquez has been appointed operations manager.
In her new role, Torres will oversee day-to-day management and take responsibility for growing the company’s Houston office. As operations manager, Marquez will assist in the overall operations of the office.
Torres has nearly 15 years of industry experience. Most recently, she served as senior vice president and underwriting leader for personal lines at AmWINS Group. Prior to that, she spent nine years at Burns & Wilcox in various roles. Torres will report to Blaise D’Antoni, corporate executive vice president and managing director at Burns & Wilcox.
Marquez will report to Torres. She returns to Burns & Wilcox, where she spent seven years in various positions, after serving as assistant vice president at AmWINS Group.
