Combined Insurance, a Chubb company that provides individual supplemental accident, disability, health and life insurance products, has been named a top veteran-friendly company for the fourth consecutive year.
The firm scooped the honor from U.S. Veterans Magazine (USVM), which polled hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies to create the list.
“We are proud to be named a top veteran-friendly company again this year by U.S. Veterans Magazine,” said Bob Wiedower, vice president of sales development and military programs at Combined Insurance and a decorated Marine Corps veteran. “This recognition affirms our efforts in hiring and developing veterans and our commitment to giving back to the military community through charitable efforts.”
Since launching its veteran recruiting program in 2010, Combined has hired more than 4,450 veterans, military spouses and their family members.
The company has received numerous accolades for its veteran-friendly policies. It recently earned recruitment marketing company VIQTORY’s highest honor as the country’s number-one military-friendly employer in the “over $1 billion revenue” category. The company also gives back to military and veteran-focused charities through employee volunteerism and corporate donations.
