Erie Insurance has announced the promotion of Melissa Gustafson (pictured) to vice president of strategic initiatives and program management, sales and products.
In her new role, Gustafson will work with company leaders in strategic planning processes and design. She will also direct the development and execution of all cross-divisional initiatives involving sales and products, the company said.
Gustafson has more than 18 years of project management experience. She has completed development programs in both project management and insurance acumen. She has earned the Associate in General Insurance, Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) and Associated in Customer Service designations. She is currently working toward an Associate in Technology designation.
