Liberty Company Insurance Brokers (LCIB) has entered into a new partnership with Gainesville, FL-based insurance agency Darr Schackow Insurance (DSI).
A company release said that DSI’s 55 employees and four offices throughout Florida would significantly expand LCIB’s presence in the southeast region. DSI managing partners John Darr and Ray Schackow bring over 28 years of experience to the leadership team, and both have deep knowledge and relationships across the state.
“Darr Schackow is excited to partner with The Liberty Company. DSI and Liberty’s values lined up perfectly and this partnership is about bringing more value to both our customers and also our team of amazing insurance professionals,” said Darr.

In November, LCIB formed its first agency partnership in the northeast US region with its addition of Caparo Insurance. Founded in 1976, Caparo Insurance is a full-service independent insurance agency that offers commercial, personal, life, health, disability and retirement insurance, as well as employee benefits.
