Liberty Mutual has already hired more than 1,100 workers to fill its new 1.1 million-square-foot regional hub in Plano, Texas – and it will be hiring thousands more, according to a report by the
Dallas Business Journal.
The new, $325-million office space could hold up to 5,000 employees in all, according to the
Journal. And the company is still looking for talent to fill it.

“We are actively looking for talented employees and are competing with our good neighbors and friends across the street,” Sean Murphy, director of design and construction for Liberty Mutual, told the
Journal. “So far, we are very happy with the talent we’ve been able to recruit; it was a great decision.”
The company’s Plano campus features two 11-storey buildings on top of a four-level garage that parks 5,500 vehicles. Once construction is completed, the company will consolidate its North Texas operations in Richardson and Dallas into the new campus. Depending on the success of the new hub, the company could consider creating similar regional campuses in other parts of the country.
