Liberty Mutual Insurance has created a new position – construction executive, distribution, for Global Risk Solutions (GRS) – appointing Ben Beauvais to the role.
In this new position, Beauvais will help drive a single, coordinated approach to supporting Liberty Mutual’s brokers and customers in the construction industry, explained Liberty Mutual GRS field distribution general manager Marc Orloff.
“His 25 years of account management and underwriting experience will strengthen his perspective as he collaborates with our internal stakeholders to grow our footprint in this important segment,” Orloff added.
Beauvais most recently served as chief underwriting officer of Liberty Mutual’s North America specialty casualty, GRS. Before that, he was with Ironshore, serving as a construction industry executive.
Last month, the vice-chairman of Liberty Mutual GRS, Kevin Kelley, announced his retirement. The former chief executive of Ironshore, Kelley’s retirement takes effect by the end of this year.
