Nationwide has received the highest ranking for overall satisfaction in the J.D. Power 2018 Group Retirement Plan Satisfaction Study, the company has announced. Nationwide ranked first in the mixed plan segment.
“Nationwide assists employers in offering a successful retirement plan by providing more value and better service,” said John Carter, president of retirement plans for Nationwide. “Receiving the highest ranking in this year’s J.D. Power Group Retirement Plan Satisfaction Study validates both our commitment to the participant experience and position as an industry leader.”
In the study, more than 9,500 retirement plan participants rated companies on six factors: interaction across live and digital channels; investment and service offerings; plan features; information resources; and communication. Nationwide achieved an index score of 770 out of a possible 1,000 – 26 points above the industry average.
“Nationwide’s retirement plans business has experienced above-industry growth in the past five years, reflecting our commitment to building a culture of excellence,” Carter said. “However, the greatest measure of our success is the satisfaction of our clients and our ability to help them reach their retirement goals.”
