Zurich North America has announced the appointment of Kate Bernay as head of general and developing industries for its US middle market unit. Bernay (pictured above) will report to John Mizzi, head of industry practices for the US middle market.
In her new role, Bernay will be responsible for developing a business plan focused on underwriting products, services and tools that drive industry specialization, as well as underwriting expertise in current and future industry segments.
“Kate will be a valuable thought leader as we continue to expand our middle market underwriting appetite and build additional industry expertise into our portfolio,” Mizzi said.
